TT and WAAS/EGNOS

Hi there,

I am wondering whether Tomtom 5 can actually take advantage of WAAS/EGNOS. Is this something the software has to specifically support or is this just a matter of the GPS device (e.g. it gets the SBAS signal and delivers more accurate positioning information to the software)?

This is purely a function of the GPS hardware. The software has no idea (and doesn't care) if the position accuracy is augmented by SBAS or not.

Generally SBAS is irrelevant for road navigation.
