TomTom are driving me nuts. They have agreed a refund and issued an rma number. But, they want to refund me to a current account not the Visa I paid with! And they want the Swift and IBAN number of my bank. What are they? - the bank I'm with pleaded ignorance. Looking on the net it seems to be special international banking codes which some banks are reluctant to disclose to mere mortals. Any ideas?

HSBC Put these numbers on you statement, not sure about the others but any branch should have them,

That's really odd. It's a standard procedure for them to do this and I can't see any reason why they would want to refund you via any other method.

Go back to them and insist that they refund your VISA. If they won't then threaten to report the matter to your card issuer, if they still won't sort it out then tell your card issuer.
