|
|
I purchased an MDPPC250 bundled with a RoyalTek RGM-2000 GPS reciever and Medion Navigator software (V3.1 I think) about 15 months ago. It has worked with no problems to date. However, I was wondering how feasible it would be to upgrade the system to bluetooth to cut down on the wiring required. There seem to be a few bluetooth GPS recievers out there but I am unsure if the PDA itself can be upgraded to bluetooth. Also, if it can be upgraded, would I need to upgrade the Medion Navigator software or would my current version work with bluetooth. If all this is feasible, has anyone actually performed the upgrade and what hardware/software would they recommend?
Many thanks |

The PPC250 does not support Bluetooth. You are stuck to using a wired GPS receiver. |

You can add Bluetooth support to your PPC250 using an SDIO card but the problem with that is that you cant then obviously use you SD card with the maps
Im alwasy on the look out for either a SDIO GPS Device where I can still plug in the SD mem Card or a Bluetooth SDIO Card wth 1Gb Memory |
