Deleting POI's in Mapstore

I have just got V3.5 of ViaMichelin mapsonic for my Tungsten e.

All works fine except I can't delete any of my personalised POI's on the Mapstore screen on the PC.
All suppress menus are greyed and under "edit-types of POI's" selecting any of them will not allow suppression, only add new.
I can suppress OK on the Palm but on doing a sync to overwrite the desktop, the problem is still there.
Any help appreciated by this newbie.

Ah, sorted now. I had saved a renamed duplicate POI file in csae I wanted to backpedal, but it appears that both files were being read, doubling up on the entries and thereby locking up the supress options.
