Battery life of a 500 & 700

does anyone know if the go 500 has a longer battery life than a go 700 as it does not have to power up a hard drive.

I thought the same so I've just done a test of my TTG700.

From being fully charged overnight, I did a static test with bluetooth enabled but not in use.

The low battery warning started to flash after 3 hours 30 mins.
It then continued operation and finally switched itself off after 5 hours 34 mins.

I imagine that it might last even longer if you disable the bluetooth radio.

Overall, I'm impressed.

The original "Classic" GO has a battery life of around 5 hours.
