4420 Reciever and TomTom 5

Has anyone tried using their Navman BT GPS reciever with TomTom 5 (or even 4)? I'm thinking of getting the TomTom software because I like the extra features such as full postcode search through POI, but want to know if it works first. I heard that there was a problem getting the TomTom software to see the Navman unit, but wanted more information.

I have had it working, but recently I've had to select 'Other Cable GPS' as the receiver and then select BT ComPort 8 and a baud of 4800. I thought I had it connected as 'Other BT receiver' before, but can't make that configuration work at the moment.
