Deleting POI's

Hello, using mapstore on the PC I added a new speed camera category and then uploaded onto my PDA. However, now I can't figure out how to delete the POI category as there doesn't seem to be the option to do it.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Assuming you are referring to removing it from Mapstore the process is as follows.

If you have any data associated with the POI then you will need to delete it. This is simply a case of going C:\program files\viamichelin\mapsonic and deleting the relevant .poi file.

With that deleted you van then go into Mapstore and under the Edit menu select Types of POIs and when you click on the POI category you will be able to suppress it. You get a warning about the impact of suppressing it which you can accept.

If the POI category is on the PDA syncing with the pda may delete it but I am not sure.
