I am using the TomTom wired GPS receiver with TTN5.

The software worked fine to the destination in the morning.

When I returned to my car and tried to go home in the afternoon i had the 'no gps device' message and I left it for a while (a good couple of minutes) but it would not pick up the GPS.

I noticed that the green light was not flashing on the GPS but instead just stayed on constantly - not sure if this has anything to do with the problem or not.

It finally started working after fifteen minutes or so, a lot of resets and a lot of frustration.

Has anybody else experienced this problem?

I leave it in the glovebox when I leave the car. Thanx anyway.

How long have you had the reciever ?
If it was in the glove box then maybe the fifteen minute wait was just while the reciever did a cold start ?

If it does it again maybe you could check outthe GPS status.
The little circle icon should be turning if the reciever is working.
You should see the sats turning from grey to blue.
