Free Space on SD Card for GO Classic to operate?

I was wondering how much free space is required on the SD card for the GO Classic to operate correctly.

Does the device need any temporary storage space to operate?

My 128MB card now only has 2.5mb of free space after installing V5.1 but appear to work ok.

hi

i have heard (from a couple of guys at work) that you need 2mb of space for it to work correctly other wise it seems to crash a lot

TTG writes to the card all the time. Mainly where it is at a point in time and a record of the route. This is why when you re-start TTG it remembers the last place it was switched off, until it gets a new satellite lock.

2MB seems to be OK.
