How is the Download Extras option supposed to work on thwe TTG300.

What connection is to be used? Surely not GPRS! Do I need another cable to use my laptop internet connection?

The plan is indeed to use the BT connection to your mobile. That one can then use GPRS, Edge, or even UMTS

My only reservation is the cost of downloading using mobile connection. Never mind...I don't pay the bill!
