GPS strength bars - Time to decode

While not being able to take my hands off the steering wheel of car the other day (heavy fog). I was left at the "Route Overview Map", or give it its correct title of Route Summary, you know the one that used to be pop up in TTN3, show you the route in full and then autmatically disappear. Well now you have to press Done to get rid of it.

Anyway. In the top right hand side, you can see that the battery power is displayed (and or charging), but more importantly the bars for the GPS are displayed, along with the number of sats.

Now I have a made a leap of faith here, in that I am foolishly assuming that the two bar scales on the two different screens are identical.

1 bar = 2 sats
2 bars = 3 sats
3 bars = 4 sats
4 bars = 5 to 6 sats
5 bars = 7 sats and above

i would think that 1 bar should be at least 3 sats. 2 sats are not enough for a fix, and not worth reporting.
