XDA II & TT5 lockouts *** SUCCESS AT LAST !!!

Hi guys,

I was one of thoese who was suffering from lockouts on my XDA IIi with TT5. I read on the XDA Developers site that if you disable your phone the lock outs do not occur. anyway i have done the following and so far (touch wood) not lock outs

- enabled PIN on phone settings
- soft reset, when it asks to enter pin i clicked on CANCEL
- started TOMTOM....went for a 100mile drive and guess what NO LOCK OUTS....its early days yet...but previously i used to get at least 2 locked or more during my journey.....

The downside is that if you use your XDA IIi for incoming calls or traffic then you wont be able to do this...for me this isnt a problem....i dont use traffic ...and i dont use my XDA IIi as a mobile.....its just as my navigator and diary ....

any how so far i am happy...i know alot of people are having problems with lockouts...this may one solutions but then it might not....

I'll update if i have any lock outs....one other thing i will be trying is a different SD card, i have read somewhere this too could be one possible cause.
