TTN5 Map install Problem

Can anyone please help !

I have tonight tried to install my TTN5 upgrade. Disc 1 Applications installs fine via active Sync.

When i try to install the GB maps after selecting which ones the maps start to copy via active sync then the whole PC crashes part way through copying.

I have tried copying the maps via a card writer and the same thing happens the whole PC crashes.

When I try to run TTN5 the Ipaq 1710 tells me ther are no maps which is correct as athough the folders are on the SD card only a mall POI file is in each folders.

If I try to use the option with the ipaq connected to the internet my log in and password are not recognised on the tom tom wbsite.

Do I need to register my product code with the TTN5 application before I can download any maps ?

Maybe I should have stuck with TTN4

try to install the maps to "a folder on the PC" and then copy them to the card with the card reader.

Damm things wont istall anywher just crash my PC everytime.

Think I might either have a prblem with map disc 1 or else a problem with my PC. Think I better speak with Tom Tom may try another PC to install the mpas first though !
