How can I make my TT BT GPS turn on when I first power it up

I have TTN3 BT and this is powered from a powered mount, which in turn gets its power from the cigar lighter. is there a way the the GPS reciever can be made to turn itself on automatically when the ignition is turned on rather than me having to manually push the power button.

I know its just laziness, but its the little things in life that matter

Do you have the cradle that came with the early versions of the TomTom BT receiver? Putting the receiver into the cradle gives exactly the behaviour that you are looking for.

The easiest solution would be to score such a cradle. It's also the most difficult solution since those are really hard to get by...

No I dont have a cradle I just hoped there was just some way to start it straight from power on.
