My TomTom bluetooth reciever died on me about a month ago suffering the same fault a lot of people experienced on this website.
I have since just purchase the BT338 after reading the rave reviews about it. I spoke to the shop i bought it from and they have assured me it will work with TomTom 3. My set up is as follows:
iPAQ 2210 (Rom V1.10)
TomTom Navigator 3 V3.07
TomTom GPS V3.07
Can anybody forsee any conection issues with the BT338?
Also anyother advice like how to set up the connection i.e. com port number? What GPS Driver to use? would be greatly appreciated.
Will be recieving the BT338 Tommorrow (20,05,05) I guess all the fun will begin! |

You don't need to change anything in TomTom. Just make the BT-338 the default device in the Bluetooth manager and TomTom will not even notice that you changed receivers. _________________ Lutz

it comes with Euro, NA , and GB power adapters, and the receiver itself has the same socket as the iPAQs. Not sure what the XDA plug looks like. _________________ Lutz

Does anybody know if the car lead that comes with the tomtom kit (Y-lead that enables you to connect PDA and TomTom BT GPS receiver to the cigarett lighter) is ok to use with my new BT338. Simply, can i use this lead to power my BT338 and PDA whilst in my car. |
