|
|
Hi. I've got the latest Copilot patch and the screen/light now appears to stay on permanently when the program is running on my C500.
When I quit the program, the screen blanks out after the assigned time.
Is there any way of stopping the light/screen from staying on? |

At the moment, no. However I have requested that ALK either:-
1) put an option in that can be toggled to allow for screen dimming or no screen dimming
2) check to see if charger is being used. If so, don't dim screen, if no charger is being used, then dim screen.
My battery life since the latest update has halved on journeys and as there still is no car charger in sight for the C500 it's a little bit of a pain in losing more battery power.
ALK have provisionally agreed to add one of the above in (probably the 1st option), but I don't know when this will be available. Probably when the next update is released. |

They've gone from one extreme to the other with the backlight. I'd prefer the first option; user selects whether to keep the backlight on or use the phones settings. |

just to say the update now available on the ALK website for European users gives the user the option to control the backlight behaviour
