I notice fron reviews that early models had some problems. Are there any identifying marks (numbers, codes etc) on these devices that will indicate date of manufacture?
thanks for looking

They have a serial number on the back - that should allow you to identify bad batches. _________________ Lutz

This is detailed in the gpspassion website. I think, but do not quot eme it was about 228 onards that was fixed. (Ths included a Bluetooth problem when placed in a cold environment and a "walking" setting) _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |

Simon, when you say "228" do you mean the firmware version? |

no, all I did was disable Static Navigation. After a while I had to factory reset because of the "wrong week cycle" bug that seems to affect the early batch too. _________________ Lutz
