Hi folks... I realise that this has been mentioned a lot since v5 came out but I would appreciate your help. I am trying to get the same level of brightness with v5 as I have with v4.42. I have tried 'removing' Jane and dragging her back from the CD, tried resetting TTG and reinstalling v5, formatting the SD card and various other things but still no joy.

I have 4.42 on one card with the correct level and v5 on another card which is definately dimmer. Can anyone suggest a sequence of events for me to try that would help me get the brightness back up whilst using v5 please.

I have been checking it by going into the brightness settings and setting the levels down to minimum and v5 is always blacked out no matter what I try where v4.42 is still visible by around 10% brighter for the same minimum setting.

It seems that quite a few of you have managed to do this so it is obviously possible and it looks like I am not doing something correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.... Cheers, Dave

Some people think that as soon as you install the V5 you will lose and cannot the regain the brightness of 4.2. Other people think there is no difference however.....
Mine is definately dimmer!!
