Is it really necessary to have a whole column of flashing adverts on the right hand side of the the screen. This has now pushed the log in box down to the bottom of the page. This means you now have to scroll down to the bottom of the page in order to log in, were as before it was was at the top. Having all these adverts flashing are you all the time is extremely annoying and hard on the eyes. _________________ Graham.

If you log-in on the Forums home page the login dialogue is at the top.
I take your point about the login dialogue on the home page being at the bottom, this needs to be looked at, I'm sure we can make room for it nearer the top perhaps on the left?
As for the ads, I too dislike flashing ads, one or two was Ok but as retailers look to get more mileage out of their ad they have all move towards animated .gifs which I agree is irritating. Of coure the problem is that without the ads we couldn't run this site so we're stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea here. _________________ Darren Griffin

This seems to contradict itself. Or perhaps it's because I use a desktop shortcut to get to the site rather than opening Internet Explorer and typing in the address.

Anywhere at the top would be better than the bottom, thanks for taking note.

I totally agree, they are a pain. Could they perhaps be programed to show on the initial page/screen but not once you are actually in the forums, that is when they are most annoying when you are trying to read messages and post replies. _________________ Graham.
