Hello,

Can anyone recommend a shop where I can go and ask lots of questions about GPS and mapping software.

I am getting confused working out what options I have regarding getting an in car GPS wich I can use with Europe and australian maps.

Thanks in anticipation.

El.

The best London retailer has to be GPS Warehouse, www.gpsw.co.uk but they're outer London so it's a bit of a hike from Central London.

I'm happy to offer advice and narrow down your shopping list if you can let us know your requirements and budget etc?

Thanks Darren,

All I am looking for is an in car GPS (or other if suitable) which I will be able to get street maps installed on for both Europe AND Australia. However, I don't really understand if GPS sets are compatible with different types of software etc and what specifications I would need.

I have had a look at the Navman stes, and I am surprised how expensive it is to buy teh GPS and the two sets of maps I would need. However, I might be underestimating the overall cost of GPS.

Cheers, El
