hp 2210 side panels

i bought a hp2210 back in november last year, the rubber side panels have become detached through insertion and removal from the tom tom car mount, does anyone know if these panels can be replaced with something more robust.

Mine fell off after a month. Contacted HP helpdesk who said they have updated to sturdier type. 2 days later they arrived in an enormous box with a spare battery panel. Still ok after 10 months now!
