POI - Help!!

Hi,

I am trying to transfer the "Tesco" POI download that I have found on the net to my HP2210. I have unzipped the file and now have two files. One is clearly the Tesco logo the other is the OV2 file.

Where do I go from here???

Hi Rob588,

I assume that you have a version of TomTom Navigator.

The .BMP (logo) and .OV2 (database) files need to be copied to the map folder on your storage card. The next time that you start TomTom you should see the Tesco POI in your POI Properties. Check the box and you will see them on your map.

If you don’t see them then you may not be shutting down TomTOm correctly. Do a soft reset and look in your POI properties again.

Could you please update your profile to include the country where you are based? Could you also set up a signature detailing your SatNav set-up? Both help us to help you!
