Just looking at Garmin's website and I see they now have a Bluetooth GPS receiver. Don't know if this is new or if it has been announced already.
http://www.garmin.com/products/gps10/
Main features:
A bit smaller than the Nokia 8210/8310 mobile phones
IPX-7 Waterproof
12 hour battery life
nRoute™ software for PC laptops
Que™ software for Pocket PCs
I wonder if they are going to add bluetooth to their low end GPS units like the Geko or Etrex. It would be a nice combination of a basic GPS unit and full blown mapping using a Pocket PC. _________________ Gone fishing! |

It is a new product and Garmin have showed no interest in the past on adding Bluetooth to their GPS Handhelds, but don't worry, PC-Mobile now has a solution and I'm just completing the review :D |

I emailed Garmin about whether they would add bluetooth to their handheld range, particularly the eTrex.
Unfortunately the answer was not in the foreseable future. _________________ The church says that the Earth is flat, but I have seen the shadow on the moon and I have more faith in the shadow than in the church.
