Charging My NEW TT Go?

Just received a new TT Go after my last one fried, now can some kind soul please tell me if I would be better off charging the TT Go in my car by 1, through the mount or 2, directly through the TT Go itself.

I more often than not work 12 hour shifts so having my TT Go to run on its own is a no go as the battery life is not long enough.

Any views?

I have always charged mine through the mount and had no trouble in the more than 6 months of TTG. I use that method because I don't have to remove the plug from TTG when I take the TTG from the car.
