I currently own a navman icn510 and have purchased the USA maps seperatly for my ICN which I have since registered. The only problem is that somtimes the maps de-register their self on the icn its self and show in red in the (show maps) section on the hardware its self. This only happens with the US maps and not everytime, it will stay registered for a few start ups even switching off the battery then it will de register just the US maps.

The only way I have found to fix the problem is to re download the reg information from smartst desktop back onto the ICN.

Does anyone know why it does this and is there a way to stop it from de-registering the US maps, I know I can activate them again as above but when iam in the us and if it happens then, its going to be a bit of a problem if this occurs when I have not got accses to my PC.
