as V3 comes with major maps of europe free, but requires more money to unlock the euro maps
is it possible to utilise my older V2 euro maps and save money
(bought V3 because my copilot 4 emtac has gone belly up and it seemed good value - still have V2 after upgrading to copilot 4..confused....u will be)

Yes it is possible, but you can't have both versions active at the same time. You can have them on the storage card at the same time. I believe that you can also run 1.96 maps on V3, with the same caveat. _________________ Tim |

No, you don't have to install the V2 software. The V2 maps will run under the V3 software. When you get your V3 stuff, install the Navman Desktop and install V3 to your PPC. You will then be able to transfer V2 maps just the same as V3 ones, using the V3 Desktop. Also your V3 UK maps come with a Basemap of western Europe. This included major European roads. _________________ Tim |
