Hi Folks
Just downloaded the latest speedcam database from this site and although I have managed to see the icons in TT3 I am a bit confused as to where I dump the .wav files and how to activate them with the specific speed cams.
Can anyone help please.
Regards

Hi Dave,
What exact version of TTNav are you running and what is your POI detector?

Hi Dave,
I don't know POI Warner. Where have you stored the other .WAV files? Can you not save the new ones in the same place?

Hello Dave
My web site has a a couple of pages on how to use POI-Warner, it is not for your TomTom 3 software, but I would think that the POI-Warner setup would work the same.
http://www.sim98.freeserve.co.uk/AMN/index.htm
I would read the HOME page and the POI-Warner Configuration Page, you can download them both from links on each page so that you do not need to stay on-line to view them. |

Hi Dave
I have just looked at the version no. on my setup for POI-Warner and it is v2.62 as the images on the web site.
The folder mentioned on the web site is for the Medion Navigon software, but I would have thought you could look to see if you have the following directory on your PDA
My Pocket PC
Program Files
POIWarner
pois
but you should be able to place the files where you want on your PDA, create a new folder, call it whatever you like.
As far as I know, when you tap the +/- box for the sound files, the POI-Warner program will find all .wav files on your system, you then just need to associate them with the correct poi's. |
