Just to 100% confirm what is being said in this forum.

If I buy tomtom mobile for one country & then buy the tomtom 3 maps of western Europe (on CD), I can load the maps onto my SD card(s) and have the entire Europe maps - as well as major roads of europe for cross border driving on my phone.

If this is true, then life is good once again!
