BT308 charing time

Does any one know how long it normally take to re-charge one ? It was going all night and it still shows an amber colour which soon changes to red. It's fresh out of the box, but even so...

Also did anyone get a "Y" charging cable with the device? I only only a single charge cable, which means charging the unit OR the iPAQ, when ideally I want both. Has any one seen one for sale?
