TTN 2004: POI problems in USA (airports and shopping centers

I really like the way TomTom Navigator 2004 operates, so I would like to solve a serious problem for me: the POI database is VERY weak!

Primary for me, it is missing hundreds of municipal (general aviation) airports all across the Western USA. I'm a pilot, and my crew needs to get to these places.

Second, big shopping malls are missing in our area (and I assume elsewhere). We travel in a motorhome pulling a 35 foot glider trailer and these places are convenient for many reasons.

Any suggestions for fixing the POI database (same question already sent to Tomtom)? The "Maintain POI" function is very manual, only one at a time, no way to import a file, and I don't have addresses for 100's of airports, either.

Alternatively, is there a navigation product with a better POI database that operates easily? My wife will use the program only a couple (but important) times a month, and would not enjoy being retrained each time!
