Help with download?

Hi

Have downloaded the Poi Editor, however when I go to update info from www.pocketgpsworld.com as per the instruction sheet I keep getting the following:

" Cannot retrieve proxy settings. Probably these are set to Autodetect or Autoconfiguration. You can set proxy settings manually from the online proxy settings menu.

As I am connected to Telewest broadband, it autodetects everything and I do not want to screw around with the settings, any ideas?

Turn off autodetection of proxy settings. So far as I remember and can tell, Blueyonder don't use any proxys, so you don't need to be detecting them.


If this is mistaken (and I don't think it is), you can always turn autodetection back on via Internet Explorer's Tools -> Internet Options..., Connections tab.

Be aware that the settings relating to your cable modem are the LAN Settings.
