Hi and thanks in advance.
I have an Ipaq 39700 which I use quite a lot with TomTom3.
A while ago, I downloaded Checkpoint 2.03 (I think) and I had about 3 or 4 short cuts to it after trying to install it a few times??? I couldn't delete these and it never worked properly and so I have formatted my Ipaq and I am hoping to start again???
I have an Ipaq 3970 with Windows 2003 and TomTom3 and I would like to install Checkpoint 2.03 (or whatever the latest one is).
When I tried before, I managed to get the icons appearing on the screen of speed cameras and traffic light cameras but no sound???
Also looking at your website, it looks like I could get some overlays (???) which speak the speed limit for the actual road that the speed camera is on???
Any help would be very much apreciated (can't spell that ) and also, I am very good with computers, but this has baffled me so any help must be in word for word text please.
I really look forward to your help and also setting up my Ipaq correctly.
Best regards and a Very Merry Christmas to you all.

Hi Colin,
to the forum!
The best version of CheckPOInt for use with PocketGPSWorld camera databases is version 2.0.2, which works well with TTNav3.
Overlays are normally referred to as POIs (Points of Interest). We don’t have POIs for speed limits as such, but we do have POIs for speed cameras. Some of the cameras have known speed limits allocated to them others don’t at the moment.
If you want sounds files then you can create your own warning as a spoken .WAV file from the following website:
