Just installed CheckPoint and the Pocket GPS Safety Camera Database on Sunday and had my first trip where I could use it today. I can see the camera icons on the display, but there is no audible alert?
Does this need to be configured? I do recall .wav files being copied in the installation process.
Thanks,

Hi Ian
You need to start Checkpoint 1st. Tick the box to automically start Tomtom when Checkpoint is activated. |

Thanks all, I will try your suggestions - I clearly don't know how to use CheckPoint properly! _________________ *Just started using: HTC Desire and Google Navigation!

Go into Checkpoint>Overlay settings>Properties (to get into Properties you first have to select one of the categories of overlay data from the menu) Under first warning and speed you have the chance to select various parameters, and at the bottom you can select a wave file of your choice. There are lots in the Windows directory (I find Alarm1 and Alarm3 useful) and you can hear them before finalising your choice by tapping the button with ... on it. The above is for CheckPOInt 2.0.2.0, I am not familiar with the latest version.
