TomTom BT HP4150 issue - need help

Hi,

I have been happily using my HP 4150 with a BT receiver for 3 weeks but have now hit a snag. I turn on my receiver, power up the HP and it fails to communicate with the receiver. I have managed to get it to work by going into the GPS program on the HP, unchecking a check-box and then re-checking it. This is on the screen with the map on it. It then communicates and seems to work. But it is a hassle and annoying as it was all working fine!

Hi Wilber,

we have the same setup. Are you using the new TT 2004? I assume you are because that's the only version where the software automatically detects and connects to the GPS receiver.

I have TT 2004 and I know that every time I hit a Bluetooth connection problem, I uncheck the big checkbox, choose generic BT GPS, re-check. It will then connect, usually. It seems to work on the generic. but when I return back to TT bluetooth gps, it connects fine.

Tell me how it goes.
