So, I like this little unit, but sometimes there is just TOO much map data on the screen. Banks, ATM,s , rests, etc. The information is too busy on the screen sometims.
any way to reduce, without actually losing the data |

You can't actually reduce the map data but you can switch off all the poi's you don't require in the preferences.

Check out the bottom of page 28 of your user manual.
It gives details of the Points of Interest (POI's) settings and how to turn them on and off. _________________ Ian.

Please correct me IF im wrong....But was i supposed to get a manual? Because there was'nt one in my box. I opened the box at home on a table. The sales assistant in p*world said that he COULD'NT open the box.
Cut a long story short....the IS no manual in there. Unless, it's on the disc?
Please could someone help me in regards to this..

When you load the Navman Desktop, you also get the manual in .pdf format loaded into your Navman directory, or one of its sub-directories. Yuo also seem to get the US and AUS versions, whether you want them or not! _________________ Tim |

Go to amazon.com, they have the UK user manual for download in the icn 510 product page. |

I have recently purchased the Navman 510. I've figured out how to turn off the POI so that I can actually see the roads, however, whenever I am viewing the map in 3D, it zooms out on it's own. I'll zoom it in to where I want it, and within 15 seconds, it will zoom back out. Is there anyway to disable this? I can't find anything in the user's manual or system settings. |

Read P27 of your manual, and disable Autozoom. This could be what you're looking for. _________________ Tim |
