Hi,
I had purchased last week a brand new Leadtek 9537 bluetooth GPS on eBay. I connected it to my iPqa rx3715, but there is a bluetooth connection problem- the GPS has a very unstable bluetooth signal that drops "Too Low" on my iPaq at distance of 4-5 feet max and then connection goes off.

Sometimes the connection goes off even when the GPS is closer.
What is strange is the constant severe movement of the bluetooth signal bar on my PDA, when i'm not even tuching the GPS or mobile that placed side by side. It works on the edge of signal most of the tiome.

I tried it with another rx3715 iPaq, but the same behavior was observed.
I found info about an iPaq 2210 bluetooth issue, but nothing for 3715 model. I tried anyway to upgrad my 3715 bios to the most new firmware but It didn't helped. Disconnecting the battery to a night- would not help also.

BTW, there isn't any problem with the satelite connection when the GPS is actually connected.

Anyone had a similar experience to this?
Leadtek GPS unit has a bluetooth seems to be faulty?

I tried contact Leadtek and waiting they reply. I have an invoice and a warranty sticker on the GPS battery that shows Jul-04, I'm not sure they will give an end user service. Do you think Leadtek will replace this brand new unit against a purchase proof?

I don't have any warranty card, as this GPS sold as OEM product.

Thanx for any advice!

Hi, just received my 9537, and Bluetooth reach is between 2-3 meters when using a Conceptronic BT USB Stick or my SPV C500 Smartphone...
