TTT automatic connect to GPRS connectio

I am running TT3 with Traffic on an Ipaq 5550. :D
Worked great until I hard to do a hard reset. :x
Reinstalled TT TTN Checkpoint and set up GPRS connection to 6310i on Vodafone PAYT.
Before the Hard Reset TTN set up the GPRS connection automatically - NOW it connects to COM 1 on the 6310i if I start TTN first. I have to create the GPRS connection first then start TTN - OK but if I lose the connection whilst driving ITS ABIT DANGEROUS TRYING TO RECONNECT AT 70 (Maximum Legal Speed Officer).
PLEASE HELP.

A factor that might be affecting this - I cannot see the GPRS settings via Connections but if I try to set a new one up with the same name - IPAQ Says "NO" - Name already exists?
