I've just installed the latest databases from PocketGPS. I was travelling through a part of town last night and noticed a speed camera which isn't in the database. As I went past I added the current GPS position (where the camera is) as a Favourite thinking that I'll report this to you guys. However, I can't for the life of me figure out how I extract the GPS position from the favourite? Question Any ideas? I presume it is the GPS position you will need?

Many thanks 8)

Probably the easiest way is to create a new POI category - name it 'A'. This will bring it tothe top of the POI list (easy for selection).

When at the location you need - select Preferences- maintain POI - add POI to category.

Select A and on the next screen chose GPS position. When asked for a name just use any single letter.

Connect the TTG to the PC and copy the file A.OV2 to PC.

Either convert the OV2 to a text file and paste into an email with type of camera and speed - or - if you email the details with this as an attachment to cameras@pocketgpsword.co.uk I'm sure they will accept it.

You can't!

But you can do the equivalent by creating a POI instead. Create a new category of POIs called "My_cameras" or somesuch. Browse the map and place the cursor in each camera position in turn. Create a POI in each position, and put it in your new set.

If you then look on the SD card, you'll find a file called My_cameras.ov2
Copy this to your PC, convert it to a text file - and add any extra details needed - like type of camera, speed limit, etc. Send this file off as your contribution to the update process. Sorted!
