Hi folks, don't know whether this is of any interest to you but I have just purchased an external Re-radiating antenna from www.Pc-Mobile.net for a nice price of 52.90 dollars (approx 27 pounds)which incl. P & P, I appreciate this company are in Hong Kong but they are very helpful and ship your order within 24hrs (took 3 days to arrive here in the UK) and they accept Paypal if required. Now the advantage with this antenna is the fact it is battery powered (3 AA batteries) with a life of approx 200 hours so enabling you to use the unit away from a power supply, being as the antenna output fits to your unit with an 'elastic band' as it has a loop of wire instead of a plug on the end it will fit to any unit. If you go to www>pocketgpsworld.com/menu_gpsaccessories.php then click on the box titled RE-Rad Antennas and then Battery Re-Rad you can read a full review. Hope this will be of use to you and also bear in mind you can always use this antenna with ANY GPS unit (even when walking or in the house) being as the actual antenna is only about 3cm x 5cm.
I initially put this thread on the TTG site but copied it over to here in case others wished to read it.

Sorry, meant to add that even if you already have an external antenna then you only need buy the battery box part of the unit (it comes as 2 parts Antenna and Battery Box) so halving the cost and the battery box has an output lead (1metre) with either an MCX or BNC plug fitted, likewise it has an input socket for your antenna.
