Hi
Does anyone know how the Navman iCN 635 differs from 630 V2?
Thanks
PS a speedy response would be very much appreciated. |

My understanding is that the hardware is virtually the same, but the 635 comes with V3 software and you can also use the iCN remote control unit with it, though I don't know if you actually get one in the box. Speedy enough? :D _________________ Tim |

Shockingly speedy! thanks. How do you suppose PC World can be selling this for £600? |

Dunno. RRP is £699. You only get one region unlocked (usually the one where the unit was purchased) so to get the full Western Europe will set you back another £149. As to the remote, it's not listed in the "Ships with" box, but is mentioned in the "Leading Edge GPS Hardware" box, both of which are on this page. _________________ Tim |

Wouldn't have thought it would be worth getting the ICN 635 over the ICN 630 just for a remote and V3 s/w. Why are you selling your 630 V3 though? I see it didn't meet your reserve price... |

Hi
I'm selling because I've only used it three times. I obviously don't get out enough to get the benefit! It's a great sat-nav, too good to just sit in my draw gathering dust. I thought somebody else might use it more...
It didn't meet the reserve but it only missed by £5. Agonisingly close.
