POLL: Best utility for warning of Safety cameras.

I just asked this questioin in another post but thought it would be worth asking in its own thread.

What software do you use for warning you of Safety Cameras (Speed Cameras to most people )?

What pros and cons do each have?

I use POIWarner with the database from this site (I am in the UK by the way) and have found it to work fine.

I did wonder about making this a formal poll, but I'm not sure that's a wise thing to do, as the various products are all somewhat different.

I tend to use GPSAssist - which does far more than give POI warnings. However, it's not free.


I get the (possibly mistaken) impression that most people choose between GPSAssist (if they want the features and are prepared to pay) and CheckPOInt (if they're happy with what it does - it is, after all, free). However, there are happy POI Warner customers as well - it sounds like you're one of them.

I use Checkpoint 2 as its free, works really well and I dont need all the sync features as on verson 3, as I only use it for the database on this site.
