Just trying to understand how to use this...

Do the intermediate stop, effective act as via's for routing purposes between start and estination positions? So I can have as many via's as I like?

And why, if these act as via's, would I choose to have multiple desinations instead?

The 'drive by' points (I think that's what they're called) automatically set the next point when you get very near to them. They're useful for forcing Navigator to take a route it doesn't choose itself.

Multiple destinations require you to select them - either by exiting and re-entering the Navigator screen, or by using the "Itinerary" option on the Navigate To menu. They're useful for a totally separate leg of the journey - as you get the 'you have reached your destination' when you reach an intermediate destination. The next time you enter Navigator, your next destination is set up, ready to go.


Many people find the use of multiple destinations gives them nothing useful and disable the feature. However, it can have value, particularly if you have to make several journeys and you want to experiment with the order.
