303mmf and 2210

Lately i keep getting an 'unrecognized card' message when putting my 303mmf card into the cf slot of my 2210. Is this caused by the Ipaq not knowing what the card is, a driver missing from the Ipaq or a faulty cf card? Occassionaly it works but then won't for days on end. I have tried hard resets and updating the ROM but no joy.

If i have a bare install with no routing software are the drivers on Pocket PC to recognize the card?

i had this with my cf gps card on my 2210 while using smartst sometimes it happened somtimes it didnt maybe a back up hard reset and fresh install but fisrt try formatting the cf card then reinstalling the data to the cf card if that doesnt work try hard rest and reistall but make sure you do a back up first

How do i format the cf card? The cf gps card is in the cf slot, the maps are on the sd card which i have tried formatting but no joy.

ahh right my fault sorry i thought it was a storage card as i said before ive have this with my pretec cf card usually just tap ok do a soft reset then it picks it up thought it does take a couple of soft resets sometimes i wish i knew wihat caused it
