Medion use re-badged and cut-down Navigon software. A POI Alert ad-in from POI-Warner existed for earlier Medion versions of Navigon and they are supported on this new version.
Check out POI-Warner for details. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks for info, but when u say cut-down, I have been trying to see what the difference is between the medion soft and navigon, and cannot see any.
Is there some roads missing on the medion, that the full version of navigon would have?
Or am i missing the plot? |

The Medion version lacks TMC Traffic Data support and uses TeleAtlas map data instead of Navteq data.
Don't worry, it's just as competent, although TeleAtlas data is chesper to licence it's used by TomTom and Navman so it's not second best, you've got a good system don't worry!! _________________ Darren Griffin |

I doubt it unless you buy the full Navigon package as you need the software and the TMC Caspable GPS Receiver. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Although the Medion package is based on Navigon it is effectively a different product from a different manufacturer. As such there is no 'upgrade' path other than buying a full copy of Navigon's version. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Found this on PIO Sync Forum. Hope it helps. I have just bought the MD 95000, with V4 on it. Not had chance to get into it yet but it looks good.
Yes you can, I got this one:

I used the speed camera o2v files from this site (converted to asc with POI edit) then just uploaded them to the PDA. Works great

thanks for the reply earlier darren, my next question for you then is this.
I have as stated got a md95025 with poi warner and relevant overlays installed, I however purchased an aldi 95000 the other day for a friend of mine. He is not bothered which system I sell to him as he`s a complete novice so do i keep my original or sell him that and keep the 95000 for myself, what do you think
thanks in advance
