Hi,

After eventually finding and loading the UK postcode POI files, I can only see about 30 out of 120 files when I try to 'add POI's' even though I can see all of them on the 256MB SD card.

Can anyone advise me how to see the rest of them when trying to add POI's?

Thanks

Paul

Which product are you trying to use the files with, and which software version?

Navigator 4.40 is the "Navcore" (TomTom's common platform) based product. This may share the same limitations as the same software on Go - which only allows something like 40 POI categories at once.

I fear you're coming up against some kind of limit in the software - but can't check as I don't have access to that software (I'm using TomTom Navigator 3.07T on an iPAQ hx4700). At the moment, the software you have is only found in the HP Navigation Pack. I expect the next release of TomTom Navigator on the Pocket PC will be Navcore based, but will have all the features of Navigator 3, which the version in the HP Navigator Pack does not.

If you delete some of the files does the selection that's available in Navigator change?

Hi David
Yes. When I delete a catagory a different one is added to the list, so it looks like you are correct that even though there is plenty of memory left on the card, the software limits the amount of catagories that can be used at any one time.

Thanks for your help on this one
