XDAII BT 308 problem

fter an unexpected hard reset I am having difficulty getting info to pass from my bluetooth GPS unit to my XDA II.

It worked before the crash and has been restored from a fairly recent backup but I cannot get it to work.

I have removed everything relating to the program even registry entries and reinstalled.

I can pair the unit and using Bluetooth tools it tells me that the I should use Com Port 7 (which I recall is the one I used before) but a port scan seems to think port 4 is the one.

In addition the Baud Rate should be 38400 but the default comes up with 4840.

Has anyone any ideas please?

sue other blue tooth receiver and then select com 7 also make sure all incoming beams is unchecked in the connections tab ignore the com 4 port scan

I have unchecked the beam box bi=ut still no luck.

Could you supply more details on the other bluetooth reciver issue.
