Is TomTom 3 (Maps of Europe) working with TomTom Mobile? Is it possible to transfer them to the memory card, or do I have to wait for different map packages to be selled from TomTom?
At the moment there is only one area with the card. What if I want other areas also? |

If you legally own both products then the maps are compatible. _________________ Lutz

Yes, I own TomTom 3 Maps of Western Europe, I've been using with the TomTom 3 PDA version.
How should I copy the maps to the memory card. With Active sync or?
I dont understand why TomTom did'nt give me a answear about the map compability. This means, that you only need to by TomTom mobile with one area, and then use your "old" Europe maps. Correct?

This is what they say at TomTom.
Can I install other maps on my memory card?
Answer
No. TomTom MOBILE is supplied with a map of your region and this is pre-installed on the memory card.
A range of accessory maps will be made available on separate memory cards. Please watch our website for more details. |
