First of all, I'm Sorry, I'm thick!
I downloaded everything i think i need to add scameras to tt3 and i cant get ANYTHING to work!
Dont get me wrong, TT3 along with my 2210 is better than SEX!! but i would love to be able to see speed cameras as well.
So, is it possable to do an IDIOTS guide to downloading/installing/setting up and using the mentioned application?
I dont have much hair anyway, but the little i do have is being pulled out slowly in frustration!! |

Thanks beefy, did everything to the letter and managed to get it installed. ticked it all off in POI etc but doesnt show cameras still. perhaps the cam's near me aren't on it? Or have i forgot to tick something.
Also i've set the calender button (2210) for recording a new POI, but nothing happens except the calender comes on! what am i doing wrong?
Is the button supposed to add the POI to my list? |

You sound as if you are using CheckPOInt. I am correct?
I rember having the same problem. CheckPOInt doesn't assign the correct keys to what you have selected so try the other keys (Contacts, Today, etc).
As for not seeing the speed cameras. Try this. Go to the "Map" view and then select "Navigate" icon at the bottom of the screen (the one with the magnifying glass), choose Point Of Interest and select one of the speed cameras. Then select "Show on map". This should show you the speedcamera icon.
If not then either the icon file is corrupted, not in the correct place, doesn't exist or you havent selected it in properties to show. _________________ Beefy

Cheers Beefy, everything works ok, i selected the POI as a gatso nearby and navigated to it but the icon isnt showing and the alarm warning doesn't sound. everything seems to be set up and ticked as you suggested. It must be something simple i've missed but iv'e double checked and cant see anything. |
