Tomtom GPS unexplained icon?????

hi,
Does anyone know what the PDA icon means? the one with the scroll bar to the right, when its fully to the right you see the Tomtom red hands, when its to the left you see the pda screen with "ZZZZ"'s on it (i'm assuming these represent sleep!).

But what does it mean

hope someone can help, its just really annoying not knowing what it is!

One keeps the Pocket PC powered up (stops it from switching off automatically when you havent touched it for a while) for as long as its conected to the GPS receiver, the other slider makes a noise sound when you get a GPS signal.
