TomTom in Turkey?

Hi all,

I would be grateful if anyone can please give me a steer on whether I will be able to use my TomTom2 in Turkey and if so, what mapping gps software do I need to locate?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Incidentally, I have just returned from Chicago and New Orleans and TomTom2 USA worked brilliantly in getting me around.

No, there are no maps on the horizon for Turkey, not for TomTom and not for any other street routing program (afaik). Come back in a year or two...
Ironically the old (very old) TomTom Route Planner had some rudimentary maps of Turkey, and they did even work (I tested them at the turkish west coast).

If you can't wait that long you will want to look into topographic software.

I seem to remember these Lutz, or something similar that covered Izmir down to Antalya, and the tourist coast of Marmaris down to Ces, but i cant recall who done them as i must confess i didn't even know of TomTom in those days.
